Be Seen
Please wait at the Bus Stop Signs, so drivers will be sure to see you!
Standing several feet away from the bus stop sign does not indicate you are waiting for the bus – you could be just waiting for a friend – and the driver will not see you.
Ensure you are visible when the bus arrives.
Be Safe
Never run after the bus. You may slip and fall or be hit by a vehicle.
Never walk directly in front of or behind a stopped bus, where drivers may not be able to see you.
Keep knapsacks and large bags in front of you when getting on or off the vehicle. Knapsacks and bags have big, long straps that can easily get caught in doors and railings.
Keep your arms, legs and head inside all transit vehicles.
