Route 1 – Nov. 4-6
Townsend Line from King Street East to Gore Street will be closed beginning Tuesday, November 4. The closure is expected to last two days.
There will be NO ACCESS to bus stop #950 Townsend Line @ Foodland. Please use the bus stop at the Library.
Route 3 – Oct. 31
Route 3 operates two trips between Grand Bend and Goderich on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. TODAY, only the first trip that leaves Grand Bend at Noon, returning to Grand Bend at 2:32 pm will run as scheduled. The second trip, that normally leaves Grand Bend at 2:40 pm is cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Update to Stranded Passenger Policy
Effective immediately, we can no longer provide taxi shuttles for passengers travelling from their point-of-origin (starting point – i.e. Sarnia) when the bus is full. Taxis will still be used when:
- A bus breaks down, and there is no spare bus for the RETURN TRIP HOME.
- A driver calls in sick, and there is no replacement driver for the RETURN TRIP HOME.
- The LAST bus on a route is full, and as a result, there are stranded passengers for the RETURN TRIP HOME.
In other words, taxis will ONLY be called out if/when there is a bus service issue and a passenger is returning home.
We no longer call in taxis for passengers who have not yet left their home town to go anywhere – including work – for any reason.
This is a RETURN TRIP service only.
