Child’s Annual Pass
Children 12 years and under ride free when accompanied by an adult. To get a Child’s Annual Pass, order online. The pass is free of charge and valid for one year. Please note, drivers may ask how old your child is if they look older than 12.
Support Person Assistance Pass
If you need help from a Support Person because of a disability, you can get a Support Person Assistance Pass. This lets one helper ride with you for free. The pass is issued free of charge and lasts one year. It stays with you, so that the Support Person can be different each time.
To get the pass:
- Fill out the Support Person Assistance Application (PDF).
- A medical professional must confirm you need help travelling the bus.
- Send the form by email to smills@lambtonshores.ca, regular mail, by mail, or bring it in to the municipal office (Municipality of Lambton Shores, 9577 Port Franks Rd., Thedford, N0M 2N0).

CNIB Annual Pass
If you have a CNIB Card (contact Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada at 1-844-887-8572 or info@vlrehab.ca), you can ride for free. Order online or send an email to smills@lambtonshores.ca with:
- A copy of your CNIB Card
- A photo ID with your address
- Your full mailing address
You can also apply mail or in person at the municipal office (Municipality of Lambton Shores, 9577 Port Franks Rd., Thedford, N0M 2N0).
This pass is ONLY for people living in:
- Lambton Shores
- South Huron
- Plympton-Wyoming
- Bluewater
- Kettle & Stony Point First Nation
The renewable pass is free and valid for one year .
Seniors & Veterans Discount Passes
Passengers 65 or older and Canadian Veterans get 20% off regular fares ( including Monthly Passes). You must use the Pass to get the discount, which is not available on cash fares.
To get the pass:
- Show government ID
- Buy at at Sobeys in Grand Bend or order online
Accepted ID for Seniors:
- Birth Certificate
- Passport
- Permanent Resident Card
- OAS card
Accepted ID for Veterans:
- Veterans Service Card (Click here for more information about this ID).

Income Related Annual Pass
Offers a significant discount to people experiencing economic difficulty. The pass is good for one year. You must re-apply every year.
The pass is ONLY for people living in:
- Lambton Shores
- South Huron
- Plympton-Wyoming
- Bluewater
- Kettle & Stony Point First Nation
To apply:
- Download and fill out the form (PDF)
- Once approved, the Smart Card is issue
- Payment can be made in person (by cash or credit card or debit/credit) or by phone

You must:
- Be 20-64 years old
- Live in one of the partner areas listed above
- Have one of the following:
- A “Blue Card” from a Lambton County Food Bank
- Be registered with a Huron County Food Bank
- Live in social housing
- Be on Ontario Works (OW) or Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
