The Employee Shuttle travels Route 1 between Sarnia to Grand Bend to accommodate the seasonal increase in workers travelling to Forest, Arkona, Port Franks and Grand Bend for work at local retailers, restaurants and hoteliers. To use the Employee Shuttle, passengers must have a valid Smart Card and book their seats on the shuttle ahead of time. The Employee Shuttle can be a taxi van, micro-bus or school bus to adjust to the number of workers needing transportation.
We run weekend Employee Shuttles in May and June using vehicles of various sizes. Starting Saturday, June 29 (the Canada Day Long Weekend) we will have a full-size school bus that can accommodate up to 48 people running a morning and late evening schedule. The Employee Shuttle will leave Lambton College at 7:15 am, arriving in Grand Bend just before 9 am. The return trip will leave Grand Bend at 10 pm!
