Does my support person have to pay?

A support person may travel free of charge when accompanying someone with a disability who has an identified medical requirement for support. A support person is an adult who accompanies a person with a permanent disability to assist with services that are not provided by the employees of that service.

How do I pay?

We accept payment by cash or Smart Card. Please note, when using a Smart Card for fare payment, it must always be tapped on the card reader for fare payment to be made. If you forget your Smart Card, you will need to pay cash for that trip. The Smart Card must always be present and tapped to be a valid form of payment. Showing the bus driver a picture, screen capture or “receipt” on your cell phone is not accepted as payment.

Are pets allowed on the bus?

Passengers with disabilities who are accompanied by their service animal are welcome on our vehicles. Service animals must be clearly identified (such as by a vest or harness), and must be in the care and control of their owner at all times.

All pets must be in a pet carrier at all times while on board.

Can I bring my bike?

Both buses have bike racks and can store up to two bikes.  There are some important criteria and considerations for bringing along your bike.

Passengers need to be able to load/unload and secure the bike themselves. There is a sticker on the bike rack with handy instructions on how to safely load, secure and unload the bike. Drivers can help with verbal guidance only, they are not permitted to load the bike for you.

There is no additional charge for transporting your bike and bike storage is on a first come, first served basis. The bike must have a minimum wheel diameter of 16 inches.  Detachable items, such as bags, air pumps and water bottles must be removed before the bike is stored on the rack.

We are not responsible for loss, damage or theft of bikes; transportation of your bike is at your own risk.

Sorry, we cannot handle tricycles, tandem or motorized bikes, including electric bikes or electric scooters.
